What are all your thoughts on girlfriends? How many have you had? Do you think it's right to date someone for their looks? Discuss them all here.

- I believe that you should get a girlfriend who you like for who they are.
- I think that you should not just get one to get benefits.
- I believe that having a girlfriend is fun.

I'm sorry but I can't date a girl who doesn't look good. It's just too hard for me to wake up every day and see other beautiful women. I've only asked out somebody probably like 3 times, but I play around :o

I will not lie, I would rather go out with a pretty girl than not. However if the pretty girl is some barbie cheerleader...nah.

-I think dating girls for looks is alright. You might want to get to know them a little better, they might be cool or they might not. Better to have a hot and cool girlfriend then an ugly and cool one :P

paradox, obviously there are many, many people who get married to not-so-attractive women. This leads me to think that many people look at personality.

Lmao well I'm 13 and I have my girlfriends dad bring us he's the shit and he doesn't care what we do, I've only had 1 girlfriend and we've gone out for a year and a half. She has really great looks (why I go out with her mostly :P) and she has a stunning personality, also she plays softball and I play baseball so even more in common :D.


P.S never date an ugly chick with a "great" personality unless you feel like getting your ass beat :]

I have had four girlfriends I pick my girlfriends by looks
and personality not by what they have or what they can offer.

I'm extremely picky about the girls i date, or have been for the last 2 years, which is why i've had only one girlfriend in the time, i dated her for 9 months but had to move away last summer... which will be one year ago this sunday

ANYWAY, before i came about my revelation about *not* being a whore myself, i had 4 girlfriends from sometime in the beginning of the summer of '06 until late october, none of them were serious, although i still have powerful feelings towards the first girl of those 4...

of course because you can't *see* personality, you have to go by looks until you get to know them. i spent the first half of last school year trying to get to know a girl i liked, but she's certainly not my type
Soon after that i started liking another girl, who i'm still trying to get to know right now... i don't want to ruin things by rushing into anything

So my final answer: looks are important, but are meaningless without personality

once i went out with a girl just for her looks. terrible personality though and i couldnt stand being around her. only lasted 5 days i think mabey less

- You should only think about a relationship with someone who you think you will enjoy spending time with. I personally have to make sure the girl is happy and the relationship works the way that she wants it to! I'd like a girl who would tell me how she is feeling and if i'm doing something wrong.

- What sort of benefits? Sex? Benefits are hard to class i would say having someone there who understands me, who loves me is beneficial.

- It's only fun if it works properly!

Well they can be attractive in looks to other people,but not you.Looks dont really matter as much as personality in my part.

there are some restrictions like i don't want a drug addict or some crazy person like yea i've had my girls but i don't go for just looks. I look for mostly personality and nice eyes but if you got good looks and a nice body thats a plus. And prostitutes lmao i wouldn't phuk a prostitute if you payed me they have mad stds

Using prostitutes to relieve pressure is a very silly thing to do because of STD's etc, a girlfriend would be much preferred i think.

There are a lot of thoughts running through my mind right now.

Personally, I really couldn't have a non-attractive girlfriend.
My status would go down in school(I guess I'm shallow in that matter) but I like being at/near the top for some reason.
I've been in 2 serious relationships, though I'm guessing both ended on my faults.
I can't think of what else I was trying to say, but it'll be back later :P.

lost track after... 5? The first one was for looks, then once you actually get in bed with them, and you stop listening to your penis then you think "hey, do I even LIKE this girl?"

The second one was because she liked me even though I didnt like her much. dont get me wrong she was a great girl but she should have had someone better then me, so I had to dump her =\
