Barack Obama or Mr. McCain.....?
Well, the time is coming, and I'd like to see everybody's opinions before the event takes place?
Who will win the President vote...Barrack Obama or Mr. McCain? I personally believe that McCain will win, due to Obama's inexperience. I personally WANT Obama to win, as I believe we need to set out racist comments aside, and be true citizens. The race and color doesn't matter, so let's vote Mr. Barrack in. McCain is older and feeble, so he has that against him... What are your thoughts? Only at least 3 sentence responses, as I want to hear your real opinion, not spam. |
Just because Mcain is more boring than Obama doesnt make him a Feeble presidesnt. I have nothing against Obama but its hard to cancel someone out just for the fact that Obama is black. Basically like saying he should win to prove something.
|
Hmm, you have some good points in there, but I will still have to argue against you in both your points...
1- McCain is feeble because old people are GENERALLY not as productive. I honestly don't want someone who could possibly prove a physical Presidential difficulty. 2- I am saying that one of the GOOD points for Obama to win is because he WOULD be proving a point. He has many other good attributes that make him deserve to win. But like I said, McCain probably will win anyways. |
You're biased. I despise the way you think of this election. 21, you infer that McCain will win due to his race. That's INCORRECT. McCain and Obama shouldn't even be a comparision. Do you really think the American society should risk the chance of continuing the never-ending war? If you're a moronic person, then you would clearly choose McCain - he prefers to prolong the war.
If you have any recollection why we started the war with iraq, if you don't, I'll refresh your meomry. According to our current president, George W. Bush, Iraq has 'weapon of mass destruction'. Incorrect, Iraq never HAD weapon of mass destruction. They have oil, which is why we we're having the war right now. McCain wants to prolong the war for oil. That's called greed. Obama, has been a senator for along time now. He has not had one evil thought to go back on his state. He's a great canidate, and is young. McCain is an elder, and is sick. We don't want a president to die, within the years he's running. I think I may stand alone in the opinion that a better president would be one who would rule a country through liberty, and not based on their belief. Instead of being discriminated, why don't they give people chances? Saying that we shouldn't have a black president is saying we should never have a Irish, Baptist, Pentecostal, or any other religious president. |
I'm not American and don't really keep up with it. I think Barack Obama would be the better choice for the country. I like the fact he is dedicated and doesn't act like a robot. He makes mistakes like everyone else and has good views.
Hilary Clinton would have been my first choice of rule, but it would have bin close between the two of them. I think the America's media are a little bit to pressurizing, they are changing votes by catching candidates out. A lot of people tell me it doesn't affect the UK, just like when the US wen't into a credit crunch, which managed to carry over to the UK. I feel that a leader must not only be able to speak for his/her country, but to be able to have a say in what happens across the globe :). Quote:

Indeed, the president of the U.S.A is the most powerful man in the world. If a war happens in the world, it affects everyone. Oh yes, the most hypocritcal thing in the world - the media. They show only minor mistakes that canidates have comited, and turn into something similar as murdering someone. Something should be done with the press, it's annoying.

In fact, I did not even get close to mentioning that McCain will win for his race. He will win because he has more experience and had more time to establish his reputation. Obama is fresh with new ideas, but not as experienced. It comes down to whether the Nation would like young and fresh, or older and more experienced.

Very good point, which is what I was attempting to explain: Obama's experience...not so great VS McCain's large amount of experience.

I do notice alot that elders do have more experience, but the young are the ones getting the things done! |
Im going to have to say Obama, hes more popular with the younger crowd which
will have a huge affect this coming election. Just look at the crowds Obama pulls in compared to McCain, two hundred thousand people compared to McCains fifty people at a pub. As Unknown said, experience does not mean everything, people want someone with character and intelligence. Even the levels of intelligence are severly different, McCain's speech's are so mediocre and simple compared to Obamas. |
Age does not matter. That's basically racism to elderly.

John McCain even admitted he does not know how to use a computer. |
I highly doubt Mr. McCain doesn't know how to use the computer, or he will definitely lose. A computer is required for the service of presidency.

Ron Paul kicks both of their asses.

Ron Paul was a good candidate but he scared people off. He never
really had a fair chance in the media either, but then who does...unless your a die hard republican. |
Ron Paul has no chance at all now. He's done. I personally liked his ideas though.

The best man always wins (usually), even if he was a good candidate he will go on to do different things that will probably effect us in ways we hadn't thought of. It is our actions that define us and presidential candidates have to remember this if they ever want a chance is the hot seat :D. |
He doesn't need to know the basics of the computer, he can use money to bribe people into doing work for him.
|
That is..simply put..the dumbest thing I've ever heard.
Any bribery would result in automatic disarray...and then a quick descent would follow for McCain... |
Barack Obama is going to win, its obvious.
|
Ron Paul ftw but I think Obama's going to win and get assinated.
|
Why would Obama get elected and then assassinated? This is a debate forum, I expect you to elaborate on your ideas.
|
Personally I think McCain will win. I feel better about it too because of who he chose as a running mate. It is a very highly likely thing that he will die in office and Palin would become president, and despite her inexperience I think she's an absolute 10.
|
i think obama will win because of all the media he gets but id rather see mccain
|
Barack Obama Ftw, we need change and he will provide it
|
personally i think obama will win, obama > cain
|
Well, it seems now that Palin is coming around the gap between Obama and McCain is getting tighter. Its getting down to the nitty gritty and should be an interesting election. I support Obama over McCain anyday. Though as of right now im not sure whos going to win. Its so close.
|
Hmm... A black man as a president? What if USA end up like Rwanda? :P
|
Racist..stop spamming.
|
i hope obama wins..mccain might be ok too. but atm im fed up with republicans and there nonstop bullshit, the same over and over, thats what really turns a lot of people off and also i kinda feel bad for mccain, because hes in the same party as that dooshbag Bush...might have a little harder chance with that
|
Being a Republican does not mean anything, and his association with Bush means nothing. If people really thought Bush was that bad, they wouldn't have RE-ELECTED HIM FOR THE SECOND TERM.
|
well this is a big change in presidents, we have never had a African American president or a women president ( McCain is going to die :p)
VOTE OBAMA |

Obama cos he seems to be with it.

Even thought I am NOT American, I want Obama to win because he seems promising unlike McCain who supposibly shut down ALOT of jobs.
|
I hope Obama wins.
It will give more power to those who need it. Hopefully the Recession will end. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=_TiQCJ...eature=related EPIC. |
I am hoping for McCain to win.
Here's a little story that I think depicts each party quite well. A woman in a hot air balloon realized she was lost. She lowered her altitude and spotted a man in a boat below. She shouted to him, 'Excuse me, can you help me? I promised a friend I would meet him an hour ago, but I don't know where I am.' The man consulted his portable GPS and replied, 'You're in a hot air balloon, approximately 30 feet above a ground elevation of 2346 feet above sea level. You are at 31 degrees, 14.97 minutes north latitude and 100 degrees, 4909 minutes west longitude.' She rolled her eyes and said, 'You must be a Republican.' 'I am,' replied the man. 'How did you know?' 'Well,' answered the balloonist, 'everything you told me is technically correct, but I have no idea what to do with your information, and I'm still lost. Frankly, you've not been much help to me.' The man smiled and responded, 'You must be a Democrat.' 'I am,' replied the balloonist. 'How did you know?' 'Well,' said the man, 'you don't know where you are or where you're going. You've risen to where you are, due to a large quantity of hot air. You made a promise that you have no idea how to keep, and you expect me to solve your problem. You're in exactly the same position you were in before we met, but, somehow, now it's my fault.' |
LMFAO where'd you find that?
