Hello,

I came up with the idea of a Ezud Private Server. A 525 based server with a BUTTload of features.

Anyways, here's what I had planned:

Minigames:

• Barrows
• Godwars
• Pest Control
• Soul Wars
• Clan Wars
• Barbarian Assault
• Castle Wars

Shops:

• Mage Shop:
  • All Runes
  • All Regular Staffs
  • All Mystic Armour
• Range Shop:
  • All Regular Bows up to and including Magic
  • All arrows
  • All Crossbows
  • All Bolts except the overpowered bolts
• Melee Shop:
  • All Scimitars, Daggers, 2Handers, Battleaxes, Longswords, etc. up to and including Dragon.
  • All Rune Gear
  • Warrior and Neitiznot Helm
• Supplies Shop:
  • All Regular Potions, no supers or extremes
  • All food up to and including Swordfish
  • Lower level Jewellery. No Fury amulets and stuff like that.

Quests:

• Custom Desert Treasure so you can wear an ancients staff
• Custom Lunar Diplomacy for full lunar
• Special quest for Staff of Light - will be a pretty hard quest.
• Very hard quest based on Summer's End. You will not be able to wear Spirit Shields without completing this quest.
• Mini-Quest to allow access to the Grand Exchange

Drops:

• Runescape-like DropRates for Godwars, Barrows, Corporal Beast, etc.
• Slayer Monsters requiring 70 slayer drop overpowered bolts, Dark Bow, etc.
• Jad has a 50% chance of dropping either a Firecape or an Obby Cape
• Monsters at the Fight Cave drop tokkul which can be used to buy Obby stuff.

General:

• 15x EXP rate
• Regular Style PKing, no Bounty Hunter bullshit
• All skills working.
• Home with Portals to go to any of the available teleports.
• Home Teleport costs no runes, all the other teleports do. No custom teleports besides Home Teleport
• [ELITE] in-game tag obtained by completing a custom minigame. This minigame will be extremely hard to complete.
• Starter Kit will be 10 mill cash, obtained by completing a tutorial quest to teach you about the server.
• Food like Sharks, Monks, etc. will only be obtainable by fishing and cooking it.
• Berserker Ring, Archer Ring, Warrior Ring will be dropped by the higher level mobs in the dagganoth cave.

Development Team:

• I'll be leading the development team
• We'll have 3 additional server side-coders
• 1 client-side coder
• We'll need a seperate forum section on ezud so we can discuss and stuff.
• I will set a SVN up.

Donations:

• People will be able to get a donator status on the server by paying a montly fee of $5 a month. The donator rank will allow you to access the Donator area and the Donator Skilling areas. These skilling areas are a lot less crowded and a bank will be VERY nearby.
• People will also be able to purchase an Elite Donator status on the server by paying a montly fee of $10 a month. Elite Donators will be given the same privileges on the server as normal donators but they will also receive a full donator armour set. This will be more powerfull than bandos, but will be untradable and you will not be able to wear it in the wilderness.
• Donators will receive a [Donator] Tag in the chat and Elite Donators will get [Elite Donator]. If you have the [Elite] Tag from completing the minigame, it will be replaced by either of these titles.
• All donations will go towards hosting the private server. Not to Ezud itself. If we receive more money than the hosting costs, we will split the money evenly between the developers. I myself will not be accepting any money from that split, I am doing this just to get Ezud more members.

We can support this with official forum boards obviously. If you get it up and running, let me know and I'll have those boards up in a jiffy.

#21, this is definately not a 1-man project. As soon as we get the amount of programmers we need we should get the section. We'll be developing the server for a few weeks before releasing any form of beta version I think.
