Help please - Setting up Wireless router.(extreme maaan)
 

Hey guys. I got a new ISP and they didn't give me a wireless router and I need internets in my room. I have an old Speed Stream ISP DSL router from a different ISP. I was wondering if there was some way I could use the other ISP's router for my new ISP's modem? Inb4poorfag I am just too cheap to buy a new router. Thanks.


EDIT: My old router is a phone line and my new one is a cable modem. Just incase you needed to know that. xD

The router is what receives and decodes the incoming traffic and opens the line for your internet. Different IPS's use different encoding. i don't think it's possible, and if it is, i doubt someone on here would know how.

Alright, just wanted to make sure I couldn't use the one I already have before going out and buying a new one. Thanks.
