Default Check any IP for open ports

Telnet into a computer(IP)
Find an IP over MSN

This is a guide to check any IP for open ports useing Nmap.

Step 1

After installing Nmap, Open Nmap GUI(Zenmap)

NOTE: If you are one windows Vista you may have to run as administrator to be able to connect to the IP.

Step 2

Type in the IP you want to scan like shown here:

I use the IP "127.0.0.1"

Type in the IP and choose "Intense Scan" and hit "Scan"

Step 3

When the scan is finished, look down the Output box for e green line saying something like:

443/tcp open ssl OpenSSL

Any port in a green text will do (Doesn't matter what the text says :P) ;)

And there you got it. The port on the line in green is an open port :)

Remember:

+rep if this helped ^^
