Hello, I want to make my new forums, but I've never had vB. My questions are:

Can I get caught with a nulled vb?

What hosts are good for vb?

Where can I customize my own skin? Any sites that let you customize it?

Any answers to the following questions will help a ton!

Yes you will get caught with a nulled version, Host Gator is a great host. You can customize skins by either downloading them or creating your own, although you'd need knowledge in that area to make one yourself. You'd be best off just going to a skins site, downloading it and installing it on your forum.

Thanks Dorito. But if I download the skins off some sites, how can I customizes it with lets say my own banner at the top, you where it says like Ezud?

I don't think your forum will go very far, you just don't seem the type that knows much about practical application. All you have to do is change the image that it already comes with. Don't use a nulled vB, they have a big list of domains which own vB license, and one of the first things I check when I go to a vB forum is that it's on that list, because users of the forum can get in just as much trouble as the owner; if it's nulled, I just report it.

loolies, wats ironic is im wasting vbulletin. i have offshores host yet im using a owned vb license.

and the guy who hosts me has tons of nulled vb on forums.

o w3lll lolols. also hostgator sucks u will get dropped so fast by dos or reports.

Actually, Host Gator is really good and I know several people who have been on it for ages, small and large sites a like that say it works fine.

Secondly, off shore hosting or not, it's still not the brightest idea to use a nulled version if you're planning on actually making any forum with over 5 members.

I think I'll just stick with php. It's just as good. I'm not going to waste $180 just for some fancy stuff.

Oh and what's a good host? Is Godaddy any good? what are some reasonable priced but good hosts?

1. Yes but if you are on a warez allowing host nobody cares

2. Hosts you pay for

3. Google serves great purposes.. "vbulletin skins"

It's ok, I'm going to get pho it's free, I can easily get free skins, no need for paying $180 with the files it comes with I can easily tweak it make it just as good as vB
