Sadly, all minigames that ever gave runes out now use elemental and catalytic I think.

And Envy, the first BA smuggle was more than three years ago >_< So yeah, Jagex really did kinda fail. Took em long enough to realize they could just take them out completely instead of just trying harder to fix it.
