But ours isn't done using piety and it allows you to keep the bird. I imagine piety must just delay the bird disapearing.

Isnt it obvious?He is on a pvp world,in which you log on the first time creates a lift.So obviously,you get the bird,logged out,logged into a pvp world,and you get fted to lumby with the bird.

Thats the original reason we were on a PVP world. We tried to get a bird in a non-pvp world and hop to a pvp world being transported to lumbridge. This didn't work. We just stayed on pvp world and tried other ideas, the one that worked is totally non-pvp related.
