I will keep this as short as I can, try not to bore you. This my friends, is my generalization, my opinion, my rant, my legacy. I started off like many of you reading this, a professional at runescape, yet a newbie at manipulation of game mechanics, a newbie at bug abuse. I first stumbled upon my first bug abuse encounter at the duel arena, sometime in 2006. I witnessed a level 60 or so in full castle wars armor standing alone in the duel arena by himself, i was rather intrigued so i observed a bit more, only to see what is now known as 'the dragon spear bug'. Whilst watching this shady character, a few moments later two more people popped into the duel arena, as the duel began this 'noob' in castle wars armor ran over to his person i now know as his partner, and used his dragon spear special on him forcing him back a space north. The guy who had just been dragon speared then began to use a rune halberd on his opponent while he helplessly sat there.

This was my very first encounter with a group now known as the 'Tainted-Ones', my later to be idols. This was a moment that i still can recall perfectly today, it is what lead me over to the darker side of runescape. I later on youtubed 'runescape staking glitch bug abuse' and sure enough up came a video similar to what i had seen a few days earlier. It was a video of someone winning a mask set by being dragon speared back a space then rune halberding his opponent, i can even recall the music on the video - i believe it was Avenged Sevenfold. By watching this video i had learned that the culprits responsible for this seemingly amazing bug abuse were 'the Tainted-Ones'. I googled the name and sure enough i found the website, unfortunately it was down. I then forgot about it all for a month or so, then one day whilst i was bored out of my mind i typed in 'www.tainted-ones.com'. Success! The site loaded, i right away registered under the name 'SAYANK'. If you are wondering why my name is SAYANK, not even i really know. My best guess is that at the time i didn't expect to stay in the community long, i just needed to register to post - i chose SAYANK because at the time i was playing a pure called sayan x. I rushed to the bug abuse section and demanded to know how this dragon spear bug was done, the first response i believe was by Lol5916, telling me it used a force teleport but was patched for now. I said, yo what the fuck is a forced teleport man? I gave him some sort of bad-ass attitude which he didn't take lightly, he at the time was a relatively high ranked member who became my enemy, but in the end became one of my close friends.

As seen, we all start somewhere. What we do after we start is up to us and is what will determine who we are when all the shit hits the roof, either we stay a clueless newbie who gets lost in the sea of idiots that inhabit now 90% population of all runescape cheating sites - or we fall, get back up and keep learning. Keep pushing, it took me somewhat three years to get to where i am now. I did not instantly become a mediocre bug abuser, I did not immediately start off with the knowledge of the game mechanics, i obtained them by hanging around the Tainted Ones community for a year and a half, quitting, joining the Ezud community which then, with the prior experience i had from Tainted Ones i instantly became a decently respected member and is truly where i excelled my skills. To this day i remember possibly the most embarrassing yet touching question i ever asked, one day during my random rant on the Tainted Ones forum, i embarrassingly yet seriously asked what would happen if you really quickly switched two items together so it lags and makes them look like the same item for a second, then used a forced teleport. My question was quickly shot down by Cool-Dog with something similar to 'What would using a forced teleport with lag do, noob?' - hahahah.

The common conception of bug abuse, whether it to be a innocent green-dragon killing level 80, or to a somewhat respected highly ranked member of one of your underground cheating sites, their awnsers will be something similar to 'glitching' or a more in-depth reply like 'being a monkey out-side of ardy zoo!'. Well my friends, this unfortunately is not bug abuse, not even Jagex would be likely to ban you for doing what is called a 'graphical glitch', or to some a 'pointless glitch'. Bug abuse (note the word abuse) is something that benefits or disadvantages other players in some way, giving you the edge. Whether it be having fifty familiars at once or taking runes from Barbarian Assault. If you ever truly want to gain something from your bugging career other then attention and possibly a 'omg!' noob fan-club, you will need to shift your attention to the profitable aspect of the dark side, get rid of wasting your time finding and performing pointless bugs. This is something that took me a very long time to realize.

Within the last five or so months, after i became relatively organized and found two very good partners to find, expand and abuse bugs with we did some rather amazing things. From infinite prayer, skulling people without them doing anything at all, fucking with personalized areas, being invincible in Bounty Hunter to taking runes out Barbarian Assault. Due to the recent leaking and patching of some of those major finds, i have decided to retire. End my career before i further drag my reputation down with my stress related issues which i take out on people and communities. Might i add that these bugs were patched due to retards who are too immature & get too excited over bugs.

Lastly i would like to express my views on the two remaining bug abuse communities. In all honestly and with only good intentions, i think that they should be taken down. I mean seriously, firstly i shall start off with Ezud.com - there is no point in having the site up, it serves as a small gathering place for fellow runescapers sure, but it causes more trouble then it's worth, more trouble then it should. The bug abuse section is hardly used, after all that is what the site is supposed to be focused on right? It has now become a sanctuary for leechers, a place where many bugs are fucked over and leaked. I assume the original plan of the site was a place for Envy and his friends to hang out at and post their shit, when the site expanded and got a bit bigger, he thought hey maybe i can manage a bug abuse community where people will post what they find, and it will attract new and up coming bug abusers. Well shit, nobody uses the bug abuse section anymore, when they do it is usually some excited newbie who just performed his first bug which was told to him by a friend of a friend of his. This is the most depressing bit, i have yet to see a 'up-coming bug abuser' since i have returned to runescape. I have not yet witnessed a highly intelligent person grace the site with their extensive knowledge of the game. All i see is lurkers who post whenever they can to raise up their post count to see past those damned hide hacks which they think contain some sort of important information. These lurkers seem happy where they are, they don't ever do much apart from that, they don't seem to progress at all in the bugging department.

Yes, i am an administrator of the 'new' www.Tainted-Ones.com, so my idea may seem rather biased but i also believe Tainted Ones should be shut down too, for the same reasons listed above and due to the mistake of bringing it back, all things die, Tainted ones is past it's expiry date, we should not disgrace their legacy any further.

There is not much else i can say, i am hoping this at-least touches a few people, and helps them face the reality of the situation. Before you say 'this guy just wants to get rid of the sites because he's quitting!". No, hopefully you will take in what i said, maybe not all of it but just the important bits - and open your blinded eyes, face the reality of the situation and learn when to except what's coming in due time. It's time my friends.

It is time, time for bug abuse to once again fall into the shadows and be left to the experts, it has been exposed to the light and the public, whilst sites such as these are up it will never progress but only keep falling downhill, the more we lose the more Jagex gain, the more they learn. If you truly do not understand why sites like these are ruining bug abuse, it is not something i can explain to you, it has to be a self taught understanding that you want to see and accept.

You may be thinking 'what the fuck? so you're saying everyone should quit glitching?' No, not at all. If you are a true bug abuser i don't see why you would be opposed to this, if you are a glitcher, all you will lose is a place to post & leak your shit, don't worry you still have the whole 100,000 people on runescape to show off your bugs to. If you are anybody else, you will have plenty of other forums to reside to, whether it be another cheating site such as sythe, or a legit site such as RSC.

'But Ezud is my home!' - Home is where you want it to be, sometimes you can't have what you want, you have to sacrifice for the better good.

I first started off with runescape auto fighters and i was like wow this is cool im like cheating on runescape- innocent when i was like 10. so I go on reading and searching google about runescape cheats. then I come across scar and I try to use it. so i keep looking and i find rsbot. Wow this is even cooler that auto miners and auto stuff. so i used it and stuff and got to like lvl 70. after that I became bored with runescape until I saw my first bug and i think it was some guy carrying a thing on a cart or a pretty old sled glitch and I thought it was awesome. I did some searching and I found ezud and i thought that it was really cool and I really wanted to be a bug abuser. despite my best efforts I only found a couple of graphical bugs but the point is that when I came to Ezud I thought it was a place to learn, to start bug abusing and get better but I guess I was wrong I mean it is a great place to hang out and stuff but It's really not that great in terms of bug abusing so I agree with cave.

Okay, you're a great bug abuser - not the best but certainly one that people know your name. I know I will, hell I hated you at first but now I know that you're a pretty cool guy for the tiny bit we've talked.

Bug Abuse is getting a bit out of hand with popularity, I'm one of the idiots that hang around a site and post interesting stuff I find on my own and discuss stuff others found and I wonder how they went about doing it.

I do not leech, I learn from ideas on my own.
Ask Jared, I'll tell him a fucking cool idea that I thought of in my head and he'll laugh at it. :p But I do go and try it, so that way I'm furthering my knowledge in bug abuse. I know that with the little bit that I do know wont lead to anything great but it's what I enjoy.
Putting your ideas to manipulate something to work, trial and error.

Jared, he's been a major help to me learning about bugging just explaining stuff to you but never telling you exactly how to do anything, he'll make you work it out.
Taylor, little bitch that is on my level of bugging and we have fun playing around with shit.

Ezud, yes it's not as centered around bug abuse as it should be, but as you said it has become a home to me and many other people here. I've made a countless number of friends on here and I'm glad to be able to say that.
Mm, but as you said it's nearing the time for great things like this to end and for bug abuse to go back into the shadows for the ones who have a talent for it.

I myself will stick with Ezud til' the end of it, and while doing that I'll continue to try to further my knowledge in bug abuse, make more friends, and help the community strive as best as it can.
This is the only community I have ever joined on the internet with such a cool group of members, Sythe is filled with queers, and RSC is just too proper and restricting for me.
So I'm guess when Ezud goes under, so do I on the internet.

So when it's Ezud's rightful time, which I do not think is right at this moment, the staff needs to decide that it IS the rightful thing to do and end the community.

I've learned a lot in the months I've been here, and I'll keep that with me when it's gone.

In your own words, you would have gotten nowhere without sites like Ezud and TO! So I have to disagree with the overall message of your post, well written as it is. We all have to start somewhere, and without sites like these it would be a lot harder to find the true bug abusers. I think that you are forgetting what it is like to be a leecher and a noob (which everyone is at some point), and although 99% of them suck, the last 1% of them turn out to be the next generation of cheaters, like yourself.

Cave i just read this again and i noticed... Your right! Bug abuse is going downhill with suck scarce numbers of acual bug abusers its just corrupting! Ill try to learn, play my part and if alot of people do that we might create a new generation of bug abuse.

Cave, your right. Bug abuse is going downhill, and it's all thanks to people who are leaking these bugs. With the personalized area bug being patched, that closed so many opportunities bug abuse had. We can't continue to have bugs leaked or it will WRECK bug abuse forever. Personally, I still think bug abuse has a chance, we just have to get rid of these leaking noobs.

If it wasnt for you and hej being my partners I would have quit a long time a go bro. Hardly much to be said between us anymore though. Let's see how bug abuse goes without us.

Reading this brought me back to old times of being a noob bug abuser, and doing stuff I thought was cool. I guess we sort of had a grudge at first but around March, I remember trying to abuse the Draynor cutscene(I think you joined in January). I guess everything went well until I got banned from TO unfortunately. We were out of contact until the new TO, and I guess a new sort of grudge happened, because I honestly and truly destroyed the new TO with DDoS(I did it twice). We weren't cool but we ended up being friends again. I have major respect for you, Sayank. Runescape bug abuse is going down the drain, but all things have die eventually. I just ask that you stick around a few more months to see if Mechscape is going to be a bit funner to abuse.
