how to get Phantasy Star Blue Burst for free
 

not too sure where to put this guide, couldnt really find anywhere specific, so i'll just place it here, move it if theres a better spot.


first off, go to http://www.schtserv.com/
then click the tab that says download
click the "here" link in the second line of the paragraph
download it and install it.
open the folder you installed it into and make a shortcut of a file named online
Then, back at http://www.schtserv.com/ at the download tab, click the link that says Japanese Item patch for US PSOBB installs and follow the instructions under it. Note: you may need WinRAR
after you have done that you have to register. Note: you will need this for the game
click the register tab and click the first block that says REGISTER create a schthack Blue Burst account and just follow what it says there.
alright, now to start up the game
go to the shortcut you made and just double click it NOTE: vista users have to right click and run as administrator.
OPTIONAL: click option when the the SCHTHACK PSOBB thing pops up and at the bottom of the new thing click the box that says save ID and password. (makes it so you dont have to type it in everytime you want to play
NOTE: minimizing the program will close it (dunno why)

when ur in the game and the rest is self explanatory
now go to Register userID and put in the username and pass you used to register
then click Patch download (or something like that) and let the game update itself.
if it closes, reopen it and select the top selection
keep pressing enter until you get to choosing your character
create a character, customize him/her any way you want.
once you are done creating a character, select a ship (idk if it matters which ship u choose) and choose a block (again, idk if it matters which block u choose)
when ur in the lobby, go to the counter and press enter
choose create your own game and its pretty much self explanatory after that
once you teleport again, go through the door to your right, walk for a bit, and then go through the big door to your right between 2 guard guys.
go into the teleporty thing and select forest 1
now your in the game, use down arrow key to shoot a weak shot (you can customize how this is set up if you press the home key, and select customize)
well, the rest is up to you to learn
