Some of you may know that I went to a Blue Oyster Cult concert yesterday.

Let me tell you, it was AMAZING! It was their very first show of 2009 as well so I'm glad I was there.

Blue Oyster Cult was AMAZING. Buck and Richy are by far the best soloists I have ever heard and by far seen live. I was up front and everything. They opened with "This ain't the summer of love" and ended with "Don't Fear The Reaper." They had the bass player from White Snake playing with them (amazing bassist by the way). Buck was beyond belief, soloing with jazz licks, classical licks, even metal.

They did amazingly! The solo for Last Days of May, orgasmic. They play Burnin' For You as song number 3 o.o it was amazing! Some idiot stage dove and security threw him out literally from his legs. This is not the last time I'm seeing Blue Oyster Cult live.

Their drummer was amazing. The dude can do one of the fastest blast beats I have ever fucking heard!!!!

The bassist, omg the bassist made me jizz so fucking hard. Dude tapped and everything on the bass, he even soloed a bit! It was just utterly amazing.

If you don't see these guys live at least once in your life, you will lose all meaning and purpose in life.

This is from when they played Godzilla (you know "OH NO, THIS CITY'S BOUT TO GO, OH NO GODZILLA!"), unfortunately it's the only vid I could find seeing that it was from last night at like 10:00 pm.
