How I did it BTW:
I started the game in resizeable mode and from there you can click on certain interactive objects and the design interface will disappear for a moment. Another way to make it disappear briefly is by clicking the run "globe" near the minimap.
I can't find any use for it since it only comes up when you login and once it disappears it doesn't pop back again. If you died on tutorial island, thereby tricking the game into thinking you were still in the tutorial, you could probably use it far more effectively. I'm not sure but I think this interface can delay certain actions so it might be possible to combine this interface with the lighting fires glitch to die to the rats. Just a thought.
