Friggen Study Hall
Alright, I need some advice.
I used to be late to study hall every day. Like, I'm not even kidding - every day. And when I wasn't late, I was entering the classroom as the bell was ringing. So, the teacher and the dean and the counseler all got together and decided that the best way to make me get to friggen study hall on time is to make me serve a three hour saturday detention every single time that I'm late.
So, surprise, surpirse, I started showing up to study hall on time.
Well, after about 3 weeks of good attendance, I was taking my time in the hallway, collecting money from this kid who owes me a buck. We were RIGHT OUTSIDE the classroom, like RIGHT THERE, and the bell started ringing. So I made a desperate jump for the door, to try and get in there before the bell stopped ringing (it takes a second). So I jumped, and landed one centimeter outside the door. If I had been wearing LARGER SHOES, my toes would have been in the classroom and I would have been considered "on time". But, unfortunatly, I was wearing normal sized shoes that day and was ONE FRIGGEN CENTIMETER OUTSIDE THE DOOR.
Then the bell stopped ringing and all the kids in the class (who find my constant tardiness funny) all shouted "You're late!". I came crashing into the classroom, thanks to the momentum of my jump, and the teacher, who's desk is right next to the door, saw me come in. I ruined the chances of me sneaking in quietly by making a mad jump for the door, because I thought I would make it.
This was on Wednesday.
On Friday, the teacher wrote one single, solitary referral to the office, and I'm almost positive that it's for me being late. BUT I WAS RIGHT THERE! So, tommarrow I am probably going to have to go down to the deans office and try and beg and cry my way out of a saturday school.
Any tips on getting out of it?
Oh yes, and I have some bargaining tools as well. I told you all how I hacked my way into the Network admin's account, right? Or at least told you how to do it (check the tech advice forum). Well, the other half of the story is that I needed a get out of detention free card to get out of a study hall generated detention, and I turned in what I knew about getting into the admins account.
So, I told my chem teacher how to do it and how to fix it, and she told the office and basically said that she would get me a get out of detention free card for it. I never got out of detention, but no doubt she still remembers my heroic deed. (I call it saving the district a few thousand dollars in computer repairs. If someone devious got ahold of that hack, they'd still be trying to piece the computers back together.) Should I tell the dean about that and try to negotiate a get out of saturday school free card?
There are three outcomes that could come of that:
1) They don't believe me and ignore it.
2) They let me walk out of the deans office scot free.
3) I get in more trouble over it.
Advice please.
