Congrats you found the SI/FL I found the day they released that quest. No lol it's not a FT.. If you want I can post picture proof but I don't think that's necessary since I already stated what the bug is.

Destroying the animal will do noting no ft will be activated. Tbh their is no ft with the animals at all it's just a fade out that restarts your progress in the game.

I did manage to find a use for this the day the quest came out feel free to contact me if you want to know more.
