It cant be used for anything, its been around since this beginning and as svew said it does so to prevent server lag

Not a mistake in jagex's programming, its there on purpose.

this is actually incredibly useful if you think about what is happening when this occurs. By playing around with it for 10 minutes i found 3 things that can be exploited with this bug [HIDE=1337] double logging much? [/HIDE]

I know, I've found one thing that is very useful bug if you use this.. Don't know if my idea is in your hidden block or not jasper.

oh noes pixels.. but this is a d/c from the servers.. so how does that keep u logged in? is it not different from just disconnecting ur net and you still remain in the servers
