My attempts at ft's - Ezud.com

Failed. My friend and I went to duel arena, and I spun plates tried to read a book right before I died and it just didn't work. I tried tele'ing to my house and reading a book right before the tele went off and that didn't work either. :\ We tried teleother spells coupled with glory ports AND trying to fly a kite/spin a plate and we just couldn't get anything to work.

Is my timing off, or am I just trying to do something that just won't work?

Your methods are old ways that maybe at one point worked, FT's don't work like that as far as I know anymore.

Balls. So should I just give up one plates/kites as a mean to FT, or do they still have some relevance?

Kites and Plates don't stall anything anymore AFAIK.

if you do a conventional teleport like teleport to house or varrock, it wont work anyway.

Yea, stall items probably wouldn't be the way to go.

I was trying that last night.

Heres what I did-
[HIDE=100]
Went to house portal click on go to my house and right when I clicked on it I'd mass click on my BH/PVP world book. The inteface for that would come up and Stall the teleport. Then Id click on my ring of dueling and click castle wars arena and mass click on book right after. I'd stay at cwars but the only problem was if i moved or x'ed out of an interface id get teled to my house.[/HIDE]

I made it that way so people woudln't say i was leaking to people who don't deserve it..
