Default New PC - advice wanted.

For a new PC, what do you think of this.
My budget is £400.
It's worth noting i live in the UK, so sites like tigerdirect aren't helpful.
I don't need a new DVD burner or a hd.

Processor £62.09 - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=CP-251-IN

From experience, you do not want a Pentium dual core, get a core 2 duo or core 2 quad.
Other than that everything looks good. You need a 64 bit OS to use all that ram btw.

Everything looks good! and yes as green bastard said, perhaps a dual core (at least) I also suggest maybe a better quality PSU brand such as corsair, or antec. So it doesn't fail on you.

Great stuff if your on a budget

Just a random question, what kinds of games do you plan on playing? (if you plan on playing any) and if more power demanding games like L4D or COD5 or something newer like that I would also recommend upgrading to a better gpu. (512 MB is good enough, but if you want to play games on highest quality I recommend getting an ATI card or Geforce 9800 GT OC with 1024 MB of dedicated memory)

The first processor is good enough :/ I have a similar setup of the hardware in my laptop -the graphics card. It runs good, but no HD games for me Anyways... you do not need the GFX card, since there is already an CHEAP!

I've already got a few spare HD's and DVD burners lying around.
