First of all, i do believe Mezala should be banned. He was a great member when i first met him, and he still seems to be a nice guy. However Mezala did scam, so he should be banned. If Mezala does pay back Fat the full amount, then i suppose he could be unbanned but with a small TWC.

Any member that scams a fellow member of ezud should be banned, regardless of status, rep, or anything else.

The only reason that Mezala was able to do anything was because Ezud administrators did not regulate trades or see any hint of a scam coming,
Almost every RS based site has scammers, it's just a natural part of forums. I wouldn't blame the administratiors, as there is only so much you can do about scamming. Sure, the admins could have put a verified user system up, however the blackmarket would be very inactive as a result. Also, admins can't always keep a track of everyone and everything going on. Anyone can scam at anytime, so sometimes it's really quite unpredictable.

Mezala was a well respected moderator at the time, and he seemed to be quite satisfied becuase he had a lot of rsgp from phishing,. So really how could've anyone suspected him to scam a fellow member at ezud.

Ok now for all those people that keep saying "Once a scammer, always a scammer". I think this statement is quite untrue. Honestly there are many people that have scammed at forums, such as sythe, are usually not scammers at various other sites. Also, people do change. Some people that scammed, look back at their actions and realize that it was completely absurd to have scammed, therefore they change their actions and stop scamming.

Also if you consider that statement, you'll notice that most of us scam by phishing or other means. This doesn't necceasarily mean that we are going to scam fellow members of Ezud.

Sorry, but i just had to put that out there.
