it doesn't matter if your paying him back or not.
This site get's bad reputation if new members know there is a scammer on the site, that is SUPPOSED to be banned, and isn't.
You shouldn't be let go free.
As i said before, If i were to SCAM, i know i would be banned INSTANTLY even if they have the proof.
Just because you scammed, and THEY don't care, you should STILL be banned.
Besides, the poll of "banned" is already winning.
Once a scammer, always a scammer, that's why you shouldn't of done it in the first place.
You should just stop arguing, and just accept the fact that YOU SHOULD be banned, there's no question about it.
Just Stop arguing, and just get off, just wait to be banned, and if you don't, that's a VERY bad choice on the administrators part.
Love,
BP4L

I don't exactly know Mezala that well, but this is the fault of Ezud administrators. As some of you may recall, a poll was put up around two months ago and the majority voted for more anti-scam precautions and trade restrictions for anything pertaining to Ezud or its members. The only reason that Mezala was able to do anything was because Ezud administrators did not regulate trades or see any hint of a scam coming, thus they defied their promise to the community that was made around two months ago. Therefore, I am not supporting the ban of Mezala.
Long Live Mezala!
But more importantly...

First of all, i do believe Mezala should be banned. He was a great member when i first met him, and he still seems to be a nice guy. However Mezala did scam, so he should be banned. If Mezala does pay back Fat the full amount, then i suppose he could be unbanned but with a small TWC.
Any member that scams a fellow member of ezud should be banned, regardless of status, rep, or anything else.

Almost every RS based site has scammers, it's just a natural part of forums. I wouldn't blame the administratiors, as there is only so much you can do about scamming. Sure, the admins could have put a verified user system up, however the blackmarket would be very inactive as a result. Also, admins can't always keep a track of everyone and everything going on. Anyone can scam at anytime, so sometimes it's really quite unpredictable.
Mezala was a well respected moderator at the time, and he seemed to be quite satisfied becuase he had a lot of rsgp from phishing,. So really how could've anyone suspected him to scam a fellow member at ezud.
Ok now for all those people that keep saying "Once a scammer, always a scammer". I think this statement is quite untrue. Honestly there are many people that have scammed at forums, such as sythe, are usually not scammers at various other sites. Also, people do change. Some people that scammed, look back at their actions and realize that it was completely absurd to have scammed, therefore they change their actions and stop scamming.
Also if you consider that statement, you'll notice that most of us scam by phishing or other means. This doesn't necceasarily mean that we are going to scam fellow members of Ezud.
Sorry, but i just had to put that out there.

Hehe, does anyone remember a fairly trusted exploiter that was banned around two months ago for scamming around 50 million coins by selling a lure that he claimed worked in castle wars and in POH's? I certainly do, and you know what the only responses I got from Ezud Administrators were?
"We figured that (insert name here because I forgot) would not try and pull of such a scam because they had built up a solid reputation on our website."
Of course this prompted the aforementioned poll posted by Jared and the also previously mentioned outcome of the poll.
Bottom Line: If the same thing has happened before, Administrators should have seen it coming again or at least monitored the trade more carefully.

In response to Mezala saying that Fat and Fatality don't care:
If you were to say, murder someone, but their family nor themselves cared, you would still be imprisoned. Why? Because it's simply against the law. I know you really can't compare scamming and murdering, but my point is that law is law and rules are rules and scamming is definitely against the rules. I believe that because of this, a ban is in order. The polls seem to agree, so he should just be banned already.
