The OP doesn't have to give any credit because champ or robo aren't the owner of runescape or can claim the ownership of a bug because out of all the players on runescape It's highly doubtful you can know exactly who did what first.

This is bug abusing, it's nothing hard or special about it. If people are wanting credit for bugs on a crappy game then they really need to get off their high horse.
